When selling your Kansas City home be sure you review a home selling checklist before the sign goes up and the first potential buyers walk through the door. Even the most exquisite homes will benefit from running down the checklist and considering the tips that are offered to ensure a home shows very well. Of course this needs done prior to the sign going up and not after buyers have already started viewing the home. My group's checklist has an entire section devoted to "Cleaning Up The Clutter". This home certainly wasn't a featured listings (by the way, it's not my listing - I promise)... 
Apparently this seller either didn't care about the showing condition, wasn't advised on what they needed to do, or ignored the advice that was given. The Realtor who took on this listing either didn't care about the showing condition, didn't advise their client on what they needed to do or simply was too scared to give the seller advice.
This seller really needed to consider a storage unit because putting all of this in the closets would have fixed one problem but created another.
